Meet Lawrence
Lawrence Schwartz is an award-winning filmmaker and retired television producer (NBC News), print journalist (New York Post), and educator (Rutgers University, New York City schools). He is passionately committed to honoring the legacy of our World War II veterans. He has served on the Advisory Board of the Center for World War II Studies at Brookdale College in New Jersey, and is a Charter Member of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. He is also a member of the National Council for History Education and the Organization of American Historians. Lawrence is currently working on his new film, which explores current antisemitism. He is also forming an advocacy group, Teach More History, whose mission is to expand the teaching of history in our schools.

"Oh, Johnny!" received the award for Best Documentary at the Northeast Film Festival (September 2024) and for Best Short Documentary at the Jersey Shore Film Festival (July 2024). It was also nominated by the New York International Film Festival (May 2024).
